The Story

Since 2002 I’ve played music from coast to coast in bands like Running With Scissors and Saturday Night Heroes.
I’ve spent the last couple years playing bass/vocals in the band YOUTHINASIA and had a lot of songs that were more acoustic driven that were in various stages of recording.

Some tracks were started in Fall 2009 when a with help from a couple friends who allowed me to get started. Sharing hardware from fellow YOUTHINASIA band mate Trevor Anderson and stealing time and shelter from Matthew Gillis I started out with guitars and bass.

As time went on and I joined YIA, the project sat on my macbook and sat on the back burner.

In December 2009, three members of the YOUTHINASIA team moved into a house and Trevor opened a home studio; HomeTown Sounds.
YOUTHINASIA went on to record a new EP “Feed The Machine” and a music video for the single was pre-released at www.YOUTHINASIA.ca . The album is set due for the Summer of 2011.

So by now it’s Fall 2010, two years past and again with stealing Anderson’s Pro-Tools plug-ins and some lovely mics, I was able to start work on some vocals.

Deciding to self-produce my own material leads to two problems: Lack of deadlines, and over criticism. Well there was also the whole I’ve never used Pro Tools before, and this was pretty much my first go at it.

The Album is to be released Tuesday, December 20th 2011 via iTunes, Amazon, Google Music and many more!
